5th June 2024

We are delighted to announce that our Account Director, Lisa Hogg, has been appointed to the steering group of the Hartlepool Business Forum. Lisa joins also newly appointed financial adviser Harrison Smith and five other esteemed members to drive local business growth and innovation.

Lisa, who was instrumental in Vove’s move to Hartlepool earlier this year, which coincided with our celebrate our tenth anniversary, is eager to bring her strategic marketing expertise to the Forum. Since arriving in Hartlepool, she has been captivated by the vibrant local business community and is committed to making a significant contribution to its development.

“At my first Forum event, I immediately recognised how my expertise in marketing could amplify the remarkable initiatives spearheaded by the Forum. The Hartlepool Business Forum is at the core of the local business ecosystem, focusing on raising awareness about funding opportunities, facilitating knowledge transfers, and fostering strong relationships among business leaders,” Lisa said. “It’s an honour to help position Hartlepool as an exciting area with a bright future.”

Harrison Smith, based at Greenbank Business Centre, and an associate of Emerald Associates, has also hit the ground running by organising a social networking event. Scheduled for June 13 at 5 pm, at The Owl on Scarborough Street, this event aims to bring like-minded business professionals together in a relaxed, agenda-free environment.

Harrison, a Hartlepool native and graduate of Francis Marion University in South Carolina, USA, shared his enthusiasm: “I’m incredibly proud of the group’s diversity. It represents a wide range of ages, industries, and backgrounds. By collaborating and utilising the expanded resources offered by the Business Forum, businesses have incredible potential for growth.”

Lisa and Harrison were warmly welcomed by the steering group’s chair, Simon Corbett, CEO of Orangebox Training Solutions, at a recent meeting held at Hartlepool Marina. They join fellow members Gary Riches, Daniel Flounders, Christine Hall, Haani Hasnain, and Amey-Rose McGrogan in their collective mission to make a positive impact across the town.

We are incredibly proud of Lisa’s appointment and look forward to the innovative contributions she will bring to the Hartlepool Business Forum.
