The Junction Multibank

The Junction Foundation introduced the first multibank in the North East, bringing a nationally recognised redistribution model to the Tees Valley. The initiative required clear positioning, strong visual communication and sustained marketing support to ensure the concept was understood, supported and embedded locally.
The Challenge
The multibank concept had national credibility, but in the Tees Valley it was unknown. The immediate challenge was clarity. People needed to understand what a multibank actually does, how it operates and why it matters locally.
This was not a traditional charity launch. It involved corporate partners, frontline organisations, local authorities and community groups. Messaging needed to speak to all of them without becoming diluted or overly corporate.
There was also a reputational balance to strike. The initiative had scale and ambition, but it had to feel rooted in the community rather than imposed from outside. It needed to communicate operational credibility while remaining human and accessible.
Beyond the initial event, the challenge was longevity. The multibank had to launch with impact, but it also needed the foundations for sustained awareness, partnership growth and continued engagement across the region.
The Result
We supported the multibank from pre-launch through to activation and ongoing communications, creating a cohesive campaign that balanced clarity with impact.
A suite of branded materials was developed for the launch environment, including roller banners and experiential elements that encouraged engagement and visibility. Photography and videography captured the scale of the initiative and provided a content library to support continued outreach.
Messaging was carefully shaped to articulate both the operational model and the wider social purpose. Senior leadership communications were refined to ensure consistency and confidence across stakeholder engagement.
Post-launch, marketing support continued to reinforce awareness, strengthen partnerships and communicate early impact. The Junction Multibank now presents as a credible, established part of the regional support network rather than a short-term campaign moment.
